From the city it is possible to visit different beaches; 

• “La Gaiola beach” which is one of the most famous among Naples’ beaches. The Gaiola is divided into two parts. To enter one part you need a document as it is part of the Gaiola park - a protected sea area; the other part, instead, is completely free. It is better to reach the beach really early as it gets really crowded especially in the summer period. 
  You can reach the Gaiola beach by metro, train or taxi. 
• ”The Scoglione di Marechiaro”. A really clean sea, Marechiaro is considered one of the best locations from local people. Songs had been dedicated to Marechiaro and it is beautiful to enjoy this corner of nature between the rocks. It was an old fishermen borough and it is reachable by bus. 

• ”Bay of Green rocks” (Le rocce verdi), it is a beach club situated in Posillipo, posh area of Naples. The colour of the water gives a special characteristic to the rocks. Offering an amazing view, it is possible to drink a neapolitan coffee in the Cafe overlooking the sea of Posillipo, where the bay is situated.
  You can easily walk once you get off at Mergellina tube station. 

• ”Bagno Elena” a bath house on a sandy beach is also famous for guesting events and weddings. 
  

• Lungomare Yalta. Located in Pozzuoli, a small city port of Naples, its seaside offers a variety of restaurants, bars and gelaterias.
